Shakerag Workshops in Sewanee, TN, in June 2009

There are still places available in several of classes at Shakerag Workshops in Sewanee, TN, in June 2009. There are two week-long sessions (June 13-20 and June 21-27), with classes in bamboo, beading, felting, soft sculpture, book arts, mudcloth dying, digital art, clay, quilting, and inkjet printing. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome. Shakerag has become known for its excellent faculty from around the country, and for the "extras" - superb locally grown food, swimming in the campus lake, late nights in the studios. Andrew Wagner, editor of ReadyMade magazine, will speak on Wednesday evening, June 24. Several Nashvillians have enjoyed Shakerag over the last few years and can recommend the program.
