Professional Development Workshop - WCCAC - July 12, 2008



Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission is sponsoring a series of Professional Development Workshops for emerging Visual Artists.
These workshops are facilitated by Full Circle Art* at various locations in Tennessee.
Williamson County Public Library at Franklin will host a workshop on:
Sat July 12th 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Included in these workshops is the opportunity for the participants to professionally document (and receive Hi res. digital files) of up to five pieces of their work.
These files can be used for submission in art exhibitions and gallery representation as well as for art reproduction and merchandising.
The workshops will also cover the following topics:
- Discussion on Signing, Titling and Pricing your Artwork
- Bio & Artist Statement Guidelines
- Protocol for approaching Art Galleries
- Digital Press/Portfolio Kits (DPKs)
- Basic Fine Art photography techniques and Art Documentation process
- Art Reproduction & Art Merchandising resources

The participants will be automatically enrolled in the Williamson County Arts Commission’s Artist registry/ website and will have the opportunity for statewide juried exhibitions and to share their work at various events and programs hosted by the Arts Commission.

Registration fee is $25 which will also cover the cost of imaging up to 5 pieces of artwork per participating artist on a CD.
