Call for Poster Designers - Inglewood Cherry Blossom Festival

The Inglewood Neighborhood Association, Inc. (I NA) will hold the Inglewood Cherry Blossom festival this Spring on April 16, 2011, from 11 Am till 5pm. This is a fund raiser to landscape, restore and the continued planting of Yoshino Cherry Trees on Riverside Dr. in Nashville.

We wanted to offer local artist the opportunity to design our logo and poster for this event. The theme is focused on the symbolism of the Cherry Blossom in Japanese culture, the herald of Spring, new life and the transience of life.

The art work will be judged by our committee, and the winner will have a free booth (10 x 10) to display their art.

Their art will be the official poster for this year's event, and will be on our website, advertising and promos.

The deadline was February 13, but will extend it to February 17th. Please send your submissions to Tracy Hamilton, the Village Pub, 1308 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN 37215, e-mail to villagepub@rocketmail.com

The Inglewood Neighborhood Association, Inc., is a 501-C-3 non-profit.
