Participate in a Community Christmas Tree Project - Talula Gallery

Participate in a Community Christmas Tree Project

Talula Gallery invites you to participate in our community Christmas
tree.
Our holiday show is “These are a Few of My Greenest Things” and we
want to dedicate our tree to this theme while inviting anyone of any
age to participate.

We have an 8 foot wooden, tripod like structure built that we will be
attaching “branches” to that are created from recycled pieces of
donated wood. Each participant will be given a piece of wood and ask
to decorate it as they would like. Any medium is welcome and the piece
can be altered in any way that you choose. This is a great thing for
families and/or organizations to do together. The pieces will then be
attached and our “lighting of the community tree” will take place
during our open house on Saturday, December 4th at 3pm.

All branches will be for sale for $49 each. Thirty dollars of each
sale will go back to the artist or can be donated to East Can or
Friends of Shelby Bottom for the holidays.

Branches can be picked up at Talula, starting Friday, Nov. 12, during
regular business hours or by appointment. All branches should be
returned to Talula by November 28th.

We hope that you will be a part of our first annual Community
Christmas Tree!
