The Lunch Bunch will meet on Friday, August 13, from 11 am – 1 pm at the Williamson County Public Library (main conference room), 1314 Columbia Pike in Franklin.

Jennifer Casale is the founder of The Green Wagon & a Green Consultant, who taught recycling and water conservation at Tucson, Arizona-area schools for two years. She is available for consulting to businesses, homes, and schools and as a guest speaker on how to lead a "green" lifestyle. She graduated with a M.F.A. in Poetry from the University of Arizona in 2008 and with a B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 2004. Jennifer's discussion will touch on being a poet and what it means for her to be an artist in the world, the struggles of working and making time for writing and more.

Shawn South-Aswad, is the owner of Silo Studios which is based in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, a small rural community just 20 miles south of Nashville. Artist and designer, South-Aswad, works out of her renovated silo–home.

All art and furniture produced at Silo Studios are one-of-a-kind piece. The art is either created on canvas or recycled wood boards and painted with acrylics. All furniture pieces are constructed of architectural salvage. At Silo Studios it’s all about bringing a bit of whimsy into the lives and homes of those who dare to break out of the box.

Grab your lunch and join the Art’s Council for a lunchtime of artistic fun and camaraderie. Guests are invited to bring a piece of their own artwork to share with the group. The Arts Council’s ‘Brown Bag Lunch Bunch’ meets 2nd Friday of most months. For more information, visit www.artscouncilwc.org, or call 428-3845.
