Friday, February 27, 6:30 p.m.
Studio B, Upper-Level, FREE
Artist Mike Calway-Fagen invites public participation for planning an artwork about ideas and issues of community. Calway-Fagen's talk is the third of an eight-part public meeting and discussion about the year-long project, "Art Makes Place," an initiative in which contemporary artists create community-based, temporary and performance-based art for public places.
"Art Makes Place" is organized by the Nashville Cultural Arts Project, in collaboration with Metro Nashville Public Schools, Vanderbilt University, and the Frist Center, with funding from the Metro Nashville Arts Commission, Vanderbilt University, and the Elizabeth Firestone Graham Foundation.
