Introduction to Nashville's Public Art program

Please take a moment to view the short video linked below about the establishment of Nashville's Public Art Program and the citizen-driven process of selecting public art. This video illustrates those steps using Nashville's first Percent for Public Art project, Ghost Ballet for the East Bank Machineworks, by artist Alice Aycock.

To see the film on line, visit:

Produced by the Metro Nashville Arts Commission and Metro 3 Television, the video was created to document this exciting chapter in our city's history for Nashville residents, visitors and artists. This film will also be available at public libraries and Metro schools and will air periodically on Metro 3. To view Metro 3's broadcast calendar go to www.nashville.gov/metro3. We encourage you to view the video and forward this link to your friends and family who may like to know more about Nashville's public art. Thank you for your support.
