Call for artists - Opportunity to donate work for Cumberland Heights

Opportunity for visibility through donated artwork for Cumberland Heights – an alcohol and chemical dependency treatment center in Davidson County.

I work in Development at Cumberland
Heights and we just put a new coat of paint on the walls in our
original administration building after many years. In that process most
of the junk was taken off the walls, and it looks so nice we are now
thinking we need to put up something worthwhile for the enjoyment of our
patients and their families.

I was hoping you might consider as a local artist donating a piece for this very visible place.
(Even if you pass along this email to your list - that would be a big help.) Thousands
of people are in and out of that building for therapy and meals over a
years period of time and it would be a good spot for an artist to
highlight their work. Because of the nature of our facility, we have to
be somewhat limiting in subject matter as our goal is to promote holistic
healing. Therefore, we may not be in a position to accept any piece.

There are two walls which face each other. They are each 15 feet long and
from the chair rail the ceiling is 6 feet high. Lots of space for the
right pieces.

If you are willing, I would be most appreciative. The donated pieces
would be highlighted in our quarterly newsletter which is mailed to
20,000+ households across the nation. If any interested artist wants to
see the space, I would be willing to arrange a time for a visit or send photos of the space.

Thank you for your support in this project.
