has issued a Request for Qualifications to develop an Artist Roster. Artists are invited to submit qualifications and digital images to be accepted into a pre-qualified roster of artists. These artists will be considered for parks-related public art projects. Specific project budgets vary between $25,000 and $150,000. Project budget range: $25,000 - $150,000

Roanoke Arts Commission Temporary Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition Deadline: March 7
Roanoke, VA
The Roanoke Arts Commission (RAC) is seeking up to eight artists to exhibit in a temporary sculpture exhibition that will have its opening to coincide with the second Roanoke Virginia Arts Festival in October 2008 and run through April 2010. The RAC is accepting submissions from experienced artists for freestanding sculpture or sculptural elements that may be functional as well as artistic. The artworks will be sited in public locations throughout the city of Roanoke.
