(1) Pinellas County, FL will commission an artist to create an artwork that will be attach to the facade of Palm Harbor Library and be visible at night.

(2) Pinellas County, FL

has issued a Request for Qualifications to develop an Artist Roster. Artists are invited to submit qualifications and digital images to be accepted into a pre-qualified roster of artists. These artists will be considered for parks-related public art projects. Specific project budgets vary between $25,000 and $150,000. Project budget range: $25,000 - $150,000

Roanoke Arts Commission Temporary Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition Deadline: March 7

Roanoke, VA

The Roanoke Arts Commission (RAC) is seeking up to eight artists to exhibit in a temporary sculpture exhibition that will have its opening to coincide with the second Roanoke Virginia Arts Festival in October 2008 and run through April 2010. The RAC is accepting submissions from experienced artists for freestanding sculpture or sculptural elements that may be functional as well as artistic. The artworks will be sited in public locations throughout the city of Roanoke. City of North Charleston's Outdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition Deadline: March 7

North Charleston, SC

The City of North Charleston is seeking sculpture artists from across the nation to participate in the third annual Outdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition. This unique 11-month exhibition offers established and emerging artists the opportunity to display thought-provoking sculptures at sites throughout the picturesque Riverfront Park in North Charleston. 2008 International Juried Spring Invitational Art Show Deadline: April 1

The 2008 International Juried Spring Invitational Art Show is scheduled for May 1-31, 2008. Artists may submit up to 3 entries for a non-refundable fee of $35.
