Vol State Instructor Needed for Graphic Design

Volunteer State Community College is in need of an adjunct Instructor for Graphic Design this Fall Semester.

The course is scheduled for Tues and Thursday afternoons. It is dual enrolled for students at levels 1 and 2. This covers computer based focus on design for page layout. Study of typography, incorporation of images, publication formats and logo design. Adobe Photoshop, Ilustrator and In-Design Applicant credentials: Preferably an MFA in Graphic Design. May accept a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design with years experience in the field. Teaching experience preferred.

part time instructors needed - Volunteer State

Part-time instructors needed:

The Visual and Performing Arts Department at Volunteer State Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for Introduction to Art (Art Appreciation). It is a college level course the meets for 3 hours per week. Sections are 1 night, or 2 and 3 day spits. Fall and Spring semesters are 15 weeks; summer semester is daily for 5 weeks. The base pay rate for this 3 credit lecture course is $1425. Faculty must hold an MA, MFA, or PhD in Art or Art History.

Volunteer State is located in Gallatin, about 35 minutes north of downtown Nashville. We are a small, but strong program offering University Parallel courses in the arts.
