Application, Jury, and Notification Deadlines
- May 23, 2008 Postmark applications
- May 29, 2008 Deadline for hand-delivered applications
- June 2, 2008 Jury convenes
- June 23, 2008 Notification of selection (by mail and website)
- July 14, 2008 Deadline for artists selected to accept the invitation to participate
Images
Five images of recent work are to be submitted with the completed application and fee. They must accurately represent the body of the artist’s work to be exhibited at artclectic 2008. Past participants, please submit new images to be considered.
Images must be in digital form, a maximum of 1.8 MB. All 5 images are to be submitted on a CD and be labeled Image 1, Image 2, etc. Do not include your name under each image.
Artist Statement
Include an Artist Statement with your application. Sections may be read to the jury should a juror request that be done. You may wish to include a description of the materials and process employed to create the art.
All work must be original and handcrafted. Artist guarantees the accuracy of the description of the works presented and the authenticity of the work as his or her own creation.
No more than two artists may collaborate on work. Both must be included on the application form. Both must be present at artclectic 2008.
