> The Tennessee Arts Commission is pleased to announce that it will
> offer three statewide workshops to professional individual Tennessee
> artists who are interested in utilizing social media networks to
> advance their career by learning online creativity and marketing
> strategies. Topics of discussion include: networking, benefit-driven
> content, building relationships vs. making sales, understanding
> online goals and audiences, measuring and evaluating success, and
> balancing personal and professional profiles. Each workshop will be
> lead by Jacob Weiss a Nashville producer, artist and social media
> consultant who is also the Founder/Director of High-Wired
> Communities and Playing By Air Productions. These free workshops are
> offered to professional individual Tennessee artists with some
> working knowledge of social media networks and will NOT cover any
> technical aspects of beginning these processes but instead focus on
> content-driven strategies. Attendees may bring laptops to workshops
> however they are not considered necessary.
