"We Art with Thee:
Visuals for Devotion
(Mail Art Show)"
Sponsored by the Center for Worship Arts
All members of the Trevecca Community around the world are invited submit artwork!
The artwork, submitted via US Mail in the form of mail art postcards, will be exhibited during Trevecca's Celebration of the Arts, October 5-7, 2010.
What is a mail art show?—Any techniques or media are welcome, from hand-made to digital creations, in the form of mailable art. Any embellished, decorated, or designed piece of artwork that can be mailed will be accepted. Consider creating with a public, worshipful attitude, and purpose. Creating a piece of visual art can be an act of worship; it is an opportunity for conversation and therapy with oneself, God, and others.
Mail art examples:
- The History of Mail art
- Praying in Color (useful techniques)
- Creative mail art examples

Professional artists & amateurs are invited to submit (a great opportunity to display your work at a community art show!). Postcards (4x6" or 5x7") are the most traditional/ well-accepted forms of mail art, but larger or 3-dimensional pieces are also encouraged (although they must remain lightweight).
All entries must be received by Friday, Oct. 1
