FBC 3rd Annual Art Festival - October 3-17, 2010

Calling all artists! The third annual FBC Nashville Juried Art Festival will be held October 3-17, 2010.

Exploring the theme "The Return of the Prodigal," based on scripture found in Luke 15:11-32, the categories will be:

I. The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-19)
II. The Pouting Brother (Luke 15:25-30)
III. The Patient Father (Luke 15:20-24, 31-32)

All artists are invited to explore the visual and spiritual richness of the theme through the creation of new and original works of art in their preferred style. Each artist may submit up to three entries with only one entry per category. Works will be accepted in the following divisions: Professional Division (those 15 and older who have sold their art commercially) and Amateur Division (those 15 and older who have not commercially sold their art).

The festival will be juried, purchase prizes awarded, and all art will be displayed for sale during the festival. This year's festival is extended to include three weekends, one of which will be the same weekend as the Downtown Art Crawl.
