Advisory every THIRD SATURDAY of the month to receive and photograph
artwork for artists and collectors. SIMPLE!

WHAT:
Professional images of works on paper, paintings and sculpture
Receive (1) raw image and (1) 300ppi cropped and color corrected image
per photo.

WHEN:
Every Third Saturday!
Drop off artwork between 9am and 3pm. All work must be picked up by
6pm
Alternate days available by appointment ($150 minimum)

Receive a CD of prepped images or download within 1-5 days.

Call to Artists: DAA is seeking artists to include in our "Fine Artist Catalogue"

Davis Art Advisory is seeking artists to include in our "Fine Artist
Catalogue" and online database, which will be used by local and
national interior designers and architects for their projects. This
will be updated every 3 months. The goal is to present reasonably
affordable fine art options for designers in an effort to elevate
their design.

* We will not be representing artists in this regard. As art
consultants/dealers, we want to know about you to include your work in
our catalogue/ files to share with professionals as options for their
projects. We generally implement a standard 50/50% agreement on sales
when working directly with artists to sell at retail/ market value.

Artists must include the following images and information to be
included:

• CONTACT INFORMATION (We will contact you regarding inquiries or
sales)

• IMAGES categorized into folders:
* Please ONLY submit works that FIT into the following parameters:

Folder 1: $500 or under (small to medium scale preferred) (5
images)
Folder 2: $1000 or under (medium to large scale preferred) (5
images)
Folder 3: $3000 or under (large scale preferred) (5 images)

* JPEGS, 72 dpi, around 5"x7"
* Please include your last name, title (abbreviations OK) and
dimensions in the name of each jpeg. Example: "smith passing clouds
40x60"

• Include a Corresponding Checklist with the following: (Please use
Word, Text Edit or similar)

Prices (include paper vs. stretched canvas print prices if applicable)

NOTE: Notate if any of your art is reflective of Nashville's
buildings, landscape or community.
NOTE: The demand is for large images under $800.
NOTE: Signed, limited edition prints of large paintings are OK,
especially if printed on canvas.

during the Gallery Crawl :

We are dedicating our project space to 5 or 6 local emerging artists
on certain months for exhibition opportunities.
Work will be installed before the Gallery Crawl and will stay up month
long. Gallery will curate and install the work as a group show.

DETAILS
-Approximate space: 6-7’ (W) x10’ (H)
-All work must be labeled on the back with title and prepared to
hang. A word document must be submitted that includes the following
for each piece: Artist name, Title, Specs, Medium and Price.
-Spring/ Summer Exhibition Fee: $100
We may recommend an Artist Critique/ Career Consultation (see below)
before exhibiting, as this is a juried opportunity and an opportunity
for critique and portfolio assistance when appropriate.

SQUARE FOOTAGE: 225, lighting and desk included (door with horses, architect style)
NOTES ON USE OF SPACE:
· Lease required. Must add The Arcade Co. as additionally insured to your insurance policy.
· 24/7 access to building and 24/7 security
· A clean use of the desk is permitted (maybe a small easel). Internet provided for laptops.
· No large works. Dry or semi-dry materials are preferred. Nothing dangerous, loud or messy.
· Supplies must be stored away to maintain a clean, professional environment in the gallery.
· The Gallery is technically open for business if you are there but gallery owners are not. (You are not responsible for speaking with guests but we can educate you if you wish.

cool) contemporary white-cube gallery space, THE SHOWROOM. We'd like to have this space open when we're not there. No work on your part expected. Just use it for your business.

IDEAL FOR: entrepreneurs or small business professionals interested in having an office space, meeting space, event space and business address.
This is a very coveted space.

ADDRESS: 75 Arcade, off 5th Avenue between Union and Church. Balcony
level. Close to everything! (Best pizza in town is downstairs)

NOTE ON SPACE: We function as a commercial gallery so we consistently have high-end contemporary artwork on the walls that rotates monthly for the First Saturday's Gallery Crawl openings (every first Saturday from 6-9pm). We take 3 days a month to put up new show but will try to stay out of your way.

I am in the gallery on occasion so at times I will be set up at my desk. Mostly, I am quiet there or work from home.

DESK PROVIDED (door and horses- architect style) *You are welcome to have a small file cabinet and chair. Only laptops please. Plenty of light.

We take a look at how to formally analyze and intellectually interpret your work. We discuss what is strong as well as what is lacking and what elements and or concepts can be pushed further to set your body of work apart. This is an important process that focuses on information gathering, and persuasive oral and justification skills. Group classes allow artists to receive feedback from the instructor as well as their contemporaries. Excellent for recent graduates or emerging-mid career artists.

Portfolio Presentation & Pricing

This workshop will ensure that your portfolio presentation is immaculate and that your gallery submission guidelines are met. We will review your body of work, prepared images, resume, exhibition history, sales history, pricing (important!) and website (or discuss the possibility of one.) The class will help determine when where and how to submit your work to professional galleries for exhibition opportunities and or gallery representation so that you are noticed and selected by the appropriate programs locally or nationally.
